Let’s Talk About Sex

Let's talk about sex - blogSex is a funny thing. It’s the one thing we all think about, but when it comes to talking about it, we often don’t know what to say. As a result, many of the “sex talks” in our lives can be summed up by an awkward adolescent conversation with our parents, some exaggerated locker room banter, and some Google searches that created a whole new set of problems.

We live in a world where sex seems to be everywhere, but when it comes to having an honest conversation about it, we don’t know where to start. Visual representations of sex are rampant in the media, from porn to 50 Shades to primetime love scenes. But all this cultural exposure to different ideas of sex has created some unhealthy expectations and frustrations in the bedroom.

I work with married couples everyday and I believe there’s a widespread crisis when it comes to modern marriages. (Tweet This!) Much of this crisis is rooted by what’s happening (or what’s not happening) in the bedroom. Yes, it takes more than a healthy sex life to build a healthy marriage, but I believe it’s nearly impossible to build a healthy marriage without one!

When you can develop a healthier view of sex, your marriage will improve as a result. (Tweet This!)

It’s as simple as that.

This is why I’m honored to be part of the “Best Sex Life Now”  series. It’s a great resource, but it’s not just a resource; it’s now a movement of couples not just having sex but also having honest, healthy conversations about sex.

We want to provide a safe place for couples to engage in these conversations with each other, so my wife, Ashley, and I along with Craig and Jeanette Gross are hosting a series of FREE, live, call-in conversations beginning April 12th for any couple who has purchased the Best Sex Life Now program.

This unique format will allow all those who have purchased the course to ask questions, share struggles, and engage in meaningful conversations with us and with each other. Even for those who only listen in and don’t participate in the talking, it’s our hope that these dialogues will provide a healthy new perspective and vitality to the sexual intimacy in all the marriages represented.

We’d love for you to join the conversation! Here’s what to do.

  1. Purchase the course
  2. Commit to watching 1 video a week for 10 consecutive weeks
  3. Register for the live calls here.

Hope to see you there!
